Expert Corporate Governance Service (ECGS) is a joint venture of independent local market experts which have come together to provide specialist governance assessments and informed proxy voting advice, offering institutions access to unrivalled experience on corporate governance and responsible investment issues.

Ethos, Swiss Foundation for Sustainable Development, was created in February 1997 by two Geneva-based pension funds and is currently composed of 84 institutional investors. Its purpose is to promote the consideration of sustainable development principles and corporate governance best practice in investment activities, in accordance with the principles defined in its Charter. Ethos is member of ECGS.

Founded in Paris in 1995, the research firm Proxinvest was chosen by numerous French and foreign institutional investors to assist them in deciding how to vote on resolutions presented at shareholders' meetings of French companies. Proxinvest provides its services exclusively to investors, using only methods that uphold the interest of all shareholders. As the sole independent French proxy voting advisory company, Proxinvest provides no ratings at the behest of issuers and no advisory services paid for by issuers. Proxinvest is member of ECGS.

Shareholder Support is an independent Dutch advisory firm that supports global institutional investors to enhance their ongoing dialogue with the companies they invest in. Shareholder Support is member of ECGS.
 

Frontis Governance was born on September 2011 and aims to be the reference point for institutional investors in the loyal and honest dialogue with investee Italian Companies, with the only crucial goal of improving the corporate governance and so protecting all shareholders’ long-term interests.
